AI Image Face Swap
Reference faces seated onto stills inside stated geometry tolerances. face_swap_pro model, tolerance table, consent-first rules.
Casting held to a geometry tolerance
A face swap seats the face from a reference image into a target frame. Treated casually it produces paste-overs; treated as a measurement it produces casting. The governing variables are geometric — head angle, light direction, resolution ratio — and each has a tolerance band inside which the join disappears. The instrument runs on the face_swap_pro model at a fixed per-job rate, shown before you confirm, with reference faces and results kept private in your account.
The casting procedure
Certify one reference face
A front-facing, evenly lit portrait of your character, kept as a controlled file. Every swap draws from this single source, which is what makes the output comparable.
Select targets inside tolerance
Head angle within roughly thirty degrees of the reference, light arriving from the same side. Targets outside the band are rejected before credits move.
Grade the join into the set
A short editor pass to match colour and light across the seam, so the swapped frame sits at the same reading as its neighbours.
Where controlled casting pays
One face across sets
Seasonal sets, themed packs and location changes, all unmistakably the same performer.
Strong frame, drifted face
A pose that passes while the generated face wandered off-spec. Seat the reference face rather than regenerating the whole frame.
Honest previews
Pack covers cast with the same face as the contents, so the preview measures up to the product.
Source and target readings
Reference: front portrait, light from the left. Target: three-quarter pose, light from the left, face uncovered, face area larger in the target than in the reference.
Angle inside the band, light matched, resolution in surplus. The join has nothing to hide behind — and does not need to.
Reference: front portrait, flat light. Target: full profile under hard light from the right, hair falling across the cheek.
Three variables out of band at once. No grading pass repairs geometry; pick a different target frame.
Tolerance table
| Variable | Inside tolerance | Out of tolerance |
|---|---|---|
| Head angle | Within ~30° of the reference | Profile target against a front reference |
| Light direction | Same side, similar hardness | Hard side light against flat frontal light |
| Resolution | Reference face at least as large as the target face area | Small reference stretched over a large face |
| Occlusion | Face clear of hair, hands and props | Strands or objects crossing the face |
Whose faces may I use?
Your own face, a fictional character you created, or an adult’s face with documented consent. Seating a real person’s face without consent is prohibited.
Why insist on one reference file?
Comparability. A single certified source, used every time, is the control that keeps a catalogue reading as one person.
What makes a swap look pasted?
Geometry outside tolerance — mismatched angle or light between reference and target. Match the geometry first; grade second.
How is it priced?
Per job on the face_swap_pro model, shown before you confirm. Reference faces and results stay private in your account.
Does the same reference work for video?
Yes. The video face swap instrument reads from the same certified source, which is how stills and clips stay cast identically.
One account, one reference, every instrument
Stills, clips, adjustments, casting and finishing read from the same spec sheet and draw on the same balance. Set the reference once; the bench stays calibrated.
